Important Update – Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) for Weight Loss

You may have seen recent reports that GPs can now prescribe Mounjaro for weight loss.

While arrangements may vary in some areas, GPs in Hertfordshire are not able to prescribe Mounjaro for this purpose. In our area, access to this medication is only available through a dedicated NHS service, and only for patients with the highest clinical need.
