Celebrating Our Active Practice
Lea Wharf Medical has long been known for its commitment to promoting health and activity within the community, and this year, the practice is showing just how active it truly is. Our very own practice manager, Rachael, is preparing to swim an incredible ultramarathon distance of 33.3 kilometres in Lake Geneva to support the charity Leman Hope.
Turning 50 this year, Rachael’s determination and energy perfectly embody the spirit of Lea Wharf Medical — a place where everyone is encouraged to get moving, support meaningful causes, and lead healthier lives. Her ultramarathon swim is not only a personal challenge but also a powerful reminder that age is no barrier to getting active and making a difference.
At Lea Wharf Medical, we believe health is a journey, and there’s a place for everyone on the path. From daily walks to daring challenges like Rachael’s swim, we’re proud to foster a culture of activity and support.
Leman Hope, the charity Rachael is supporting, works tirelessly to improve the lives of those in need, and every donation helps them continue their vital work.
